Hi, I received a receipt mid-December that mentions my case has been transferred from Nebraska Service Center to the National Benefits Center, Lee's Summit, MO, even though I live in Chicago.I485 transferred to a field office in different state. My i485 was filed at MSC and the uscis status page shows that my application is still with the MSC. But today when enquired about the status ,I was told that my application is at the field office in San Jose which is in a different state .
